Manufacturer Update Part 2
11 days ago – Sat, Aug 08, 2026 at 09:45:16 PM

Wanted to get this update out yesterday, but just wasn't in the cards.  In constant communication with both manufacturers still.  Although, it's sometimes days before we get a reply.  They are both being very thorough, and asking a lot of questions.  Even when I provide answers, that triggers even more new questions, but it's all part of the process, and they're trying to be as buttoned up as possible, which is appreciated, since no one wants any errors.

I think the next step is to get samples/ proofs from both companies and see which one we may want to go with.  We have yet to receive quotes, but hoping to rather soon at this point.  Between the quotes, and the proofs/samples, that will determine which we way we go for manufacturing.  But, hoping that they both get all the particulars they need in terms of quantities, files, holofoil processes, and more locked down so we can move to the sample phase shortly.

That's the latest, and more as we progress.

Manufacturer Update -
about 1 month ago – Mon, Jul 13, 2026 at 01:39:24 PM

Hi there,

Here with a quick update.  We are now in touch with 2 new manufacturers, thanks to an awesome backer sharing some of their contacts with us!  So, we have made initial contact, and going back and forth with both companies.  We have not received quotes yet, but hopefully soon.  Just wanted to keep everyone updated that we made some quick progress so far in getting things back on track.  Will keep you all posted as things progress.

Big Preview
about 2 months ago – Tue, Jun 23, 2026 at 10:43:33 AM

Hey all, one of you suggested we share some of the files in the meantime, which I thought was a great idea!  So, here are a few of the big files that we'll be going into production with.

Here's a link that will let you see some of what we've got cooking for you.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Kgwk9xdnxwzXRX92HkkhcAaGDamzxF9P?usp=sharing

One of the files is all of the "COMMON" variant cards in the booster packs, so different art than what is in the main game.  We're also sharing the instructions, the files for the health tracker card, chits, and uncut sheet of cards.  We'd LOVE to share the NSFW cards with you, but I'm honestly not sure about the legalities of that!

So, for now, enjoy being the first to see some of these never before seen cards, and some of the other components of the game!

Manufacturing Update
about 2 months ago – Mon, Jun 22, 2026 at 08:55:29 AM

Hey all,

Apologies for the delay in an update here.  We were hoping to have more to share, but here is the latest.

With the review process at our manufacturer, we were constantly banging our heads against the wall, because our files kept getting flagged, and could never pass as "accepted". We couldn't figure out why.  With an automated system, we were left making changes and changes without any feedback, just "this isn't working".  We finally were able to talk to support, and go through our issues.

So, long story short, it turns out that the files we built for these cards are built for DIGITAL printing.  The manufacturer we were planning on using does OFFSET printing, and therefore needed the files in a different format.

Well, our source files were all set for digital printing, and we built on top of those files.  So, the only solution is to either re-do all the files from scratch, or find another manufacturer.  So, we chose the latter.  However, that has turned out to be not so easy for a few reasons.

Most factories in China will NOT print anything with NSFW content.  So, that eliminates most manufacturers.  2nd, we need a place that will not only handle NSFW content, but RANDOMIZATION as well.  It has taken a while, but we have found 3 places that we are currently in talks with.  We are discussing quantities, randomization, file types (all are good so far!) and of course getting quotes, and shipping rates.

This was obviously not something we had forseen, as we had already printed the base game well ahead of time, but that was with a different, small-run vendor, who also does not permit NSFW content.  So, while this whole process has taken longer than any of us have wanted, we continue to move the process forward.  We will update again once we have a manufacturer onboard, and hopefully figure out new timelines, and schedules.

Apologies for how long this is all taking.  And thank you for your patience, and understanding.

Review Process Update
4 months ago – Wed, Apr 29, 2026 at 01:56:22 PM

Hi all,

In our last update, we gave the steps we're taking to get this game manufactured.  Step 1 was the review process.  This took our manufacturer the full, maximum 2 weeks to get back to us with any issues.  And yes, we had issues.

All of our art is amazing, because it's Zenescope art, so why wouldn't it be?  And the cards, packaging and everything else look awesome too, thanks to our designer.  The issue was with the files.  We had created the files using the same method we did for the prototype.  However, we are using a different manufacturer for the game, thanks to the need for randomization of the booster cards, which the previous manufacturer couldn't handle.

So, we have spent the last few weeks not working on art, but working on the files.  Shis manufacturer has a very specific ingestion process.  We are submitting all of our changed files by the end of this week.  They will need to be reviewed again, but hopefully this time, with their guidance, we will have everything properly prepared and ready to finally go to the sample phase next.

Not what we had thought, but still all moving in the right direction.  And since you've all been so patient and waiting, here is a first look at some of the booster cards that you can expect in your games!  Enjoy!
