Hi All,

We’re heading into the home stretch now!  Only 1 week remains!

We’ve unlocked another stretch goal at $115,000, and unveiled the final of 4 promo cards that won’t be available anywhere else EVER!  The only place to get this set of cards is exclusively on the Kickstarter campaign, not even the upcoming pledge manager!

And we’ve heard you!  We are making 2 card sleeve designs available in the add-ons section!  One design featuring our heroes, Van Helsing and Robyn Hood, the other featuring our big bad world destroying villain, The Dark One.  The sleeves will contain 100 in each pack, and are priced at $15 per pack.  If you’re ordering booster packs, boxes, or Z-Rated cards, you might want to consider a few packs of these card sleeves!

Wow you guys!  Not only did we blow past $100K funded this weekend, but we also unlocked 2 more stretch goals, and revealed another!  We’re cruising and are super appreciative of all your support!

If you’re starting to pick up a theme, all the stretch goal cards are one of a kind, stretch goal exclusive cards, featuring 1 card per Grimm Fairy Tales Realm!  Who can guess what that final Realm promo card will be? We’re pretty close to unlocking that one too!

Also, we’ve been getting a lot of questions about a pledge manager, or where to maybe purchase items after the campaign ends.  We are happy to announce that we will be using BackerKit for pledge management.  There will be a gap between the end of the campaign and the start of the pledge manager, but it will be there and of course we’ll be in touch with more information for you closer to that time.

Finally, we’ve been toying with the idea of adding card sleeves as an add-on.  We’d love to see your feedback to validate if it’s something we should go into production on.  Would you like to see card sleeves as an add-on?  Let us know, and we’ll consider adding it to the campaign before it wraps!

Update 4b - Addendum

Oops, we forgot to mention this in the last update about Z-Rated Packs.  It was pointed out to us by a backer that the add-on was limited to 10 per backer.  That was a mistake by us.  Apparently, that's a placeholder used by Kickstarter when creating the add-ons, and we did not catch that.  We have since changed that minimum from 10 packs, to 100 packs.  So, if you've maxed out, and wanted more than 10 packs, you can go back and add more Z-Rated packs to your pledge!  

We apologize for the inconvenience, but appreciate that heads up, and hope you can go get what you want now!

Halfway Update (Tariffs, Z-Rated, Stretch Goals & more!)

Hello Lovely Backers and followers!

We are now officially at the halfway mark of the campaign and we’re thrilled with your support so far!  We know there are a lot of crazy things going on in the world at the moment, and we are keeping an eye on all of that for this campaign, as well as the industry and economy as a whole. Since things keep changing so quickly, we don't have much to share until things settle down a bit.

Many of you have been asking for more information on the Z-Rated Booster packs.  We’ll place this in the FAQ’s as well, but here it is for you:

The Z-Rated Booster packs are a total of 58 cards.  All cards included are NSFW.  The packs are 8 cards apiece and the set is comprised of the following:

• 29 Alternate Art Commons
• 22 Rare Foils
• 7 Ultra Rare Foils

The cards are randomized in the packs, but like the standard Booster Packs, you are guaranteed at least 1 Rare Foil card per pack, and there should be 1 Ultra Rare Foil in every 10 packs.

Next, we are on our way to unlocking our 2nd stretch goal at $95,000!  It is a new holofoil promo card that will only be made available upon unlocking the stretch goal!  We appreciate your help in spreading the word, and helping us get more backers in order to unlock this next stretch goal!

We have more exciting stretch goals to unlock throughout the campaign!

We have a LOT to cover in this update - so let's get right into it…

Booster Packs and a Brand New Expansion Pack Add-On!

We’ve received a lot of great feedback from deckbuilding fans and card collectors alike.  Some of you love cracking open packs, hunting and trading for complete sets just as much as we do – but some deckbuilding fans would like to play without buying booster packs to collect the 24 New Character Cards.

We’ve discussed a lot of different options, read your thoughts, and devised a solution that should make both kinds of fans happy.  Which brings us to announcing the all-new –

CHARACTER EXPANSION PACK ADD-ON

This new Add-On is available now, and will include 24 New Character Cards that can be incorporated into your Hero Deck, or used for new Strategic Starter Decks. 

This Character Expansion Pack will feature Standard Character Art on the cards and will cost $20.  (Please note - This is not included with any current rewards.) 

Booster Pack fans can still find these cards - with Alternate Art not featured in the Character Expansion Pack - in their Booster Packs.  

Which brings me to our next subject – 

WHAT’S IN A BOOSTER PACK?

There are a total of 108 Unique Cards to Collect in the Unbound Booster Packs - 
44 Alternate Art Cards - These cards feature the same gameplay as cards included in the core game, but feature Alternate artwork. 

24 New Character Cards - These cards feature new gameplay, and Alternate Artwork than what players will find in the Character Expansion Pack.

30 Holofoil Cards - These rare cards will feature Holofoil variants of some of the most powerful cards in the Core game.

10 Ultra-Rare - Holo Cards - These Ultra-Rare cards feature Holofoil Backgrounds and stunning Character art.

In each pack you’ll get:

• 5 Core Game Alternate Art Cards
• 2 New Alternate Art Character Cards
• 1 Rare Holofoil - OR - 1 Ultra-Rare per every 10 packs!
  
  STRETCH GOALS, BGG, AND MORE
  
  We just cracked $85,000, unlocking our first stretch goal before we could even get the graphics up! Which means you’ve already unlocked Vol. 02 of the Zenescope Crossover Event Series “Realm Wars” that inspired our game.  If you’re new to the Zenescope Universe, this is a fun place to start - with thrilling art and a captivating story.
